It’s because that’s Gaga’s flop. And the correlation is that 10 years into your career doesn’t really mean much of anything when you’re still in your twenties, so that’s not an excuse.

and 10 years does mean much because the average lifespan of a pop star is definitely under 10 years

And Artpop was a flop as much as Changes was a flop. Yummy was playlisted to 300M people and it got so much Payola on radio that it’s been freefalling since its third week and it’s still top 40. It’s literally breaking negative bullet records. Of course it debuted top 5. It would be defying the laws of physics not to. The amount of money they’re losing trying to shove Bieber down our throats could feed a small country for a month. They might recoup on tour, that is if he doesn’t cancel.
