Seeriously did not get this song in any way at first but damn do I 'get' it now lol! That kind of feeling is 'what''s happening in the the US now. Possibly the biggest example in recent memory of a grower song. At 1st ur like what is this sh**, then polar opposite weeks later. Vocally and everything about the song is soo bad it's good..brutally **infectious good (whether u still try to hate the song) lol. While she took a bit longer than I thought, sorry America, but she IS coming hard in 2020 and won't let up. US is always late w/ the program but they get there. #1 on iTunes isn't about sales anymore it's more like a barometer of what's about to smash. It's now consistently taking off on radio (even w/ the XMas freeze). Everything else will go into orbit Jan./Feb. Even if Rihanna/Adele show up I could see them actually struggling! Maybe a #1 debut but see DM continuing to dominate (following the same pattern worldwide).

haha yup and right around the SAME time to the day/ month exactly 10 years later. Both will be 'remembered' the same way too. Frivolous but catchy as fuq and unavoidable. I think DM may actually linger longer. It's also getting crossover love (HOT AC etc..)

Awful callout scores but I think callout scores are becoming as irrelevant/antiquated as CD and iTunes 'sales' lol Streaming and algorithms are the new true 'call out' scores. Again, US radio is back on board hard now.
