Kworb: Me! 150K

In sales, "ME!" notched 67k in day one. While that number pales in comparison to LWYMMD's debut of 252k in 2017, Taylor still towers over peers when it comes to song transactions—Grande's "7 rings" debuted with 38k and Jonas Brothers' "Sucker" earned 43k in its first 24 hours.

If an event like this one can barely do 67k then imagine what the average underdog is doing. Music sales as a business model is over.

Inb4 people blame the decline from LWYMMD on the dying sales when LWYMMD came out in the streaming era and ME just sucks in comparison.

The streaming era took over long before 2017. iTunes has been dead.

This won’t be the worst of what’s to come, so let’s celebrate it. :clap3: It’s frontloaded though, just think about that.

Such a huge decline when we've been in the streaming era for 3 years now can't be blamed on sales, especially when the music buying demo comes out HARD for Taylor. The song simply sucks unwashed ass. I bet if she released a legit great song with a viral worthy video, it would've done 200k+ in the first day :michael:
