Yes you're spot on, they truly can't propel new artists in general. The last "newcomer" success stories I can think of from Atlantic are Lizzo (coasting off Truth Hurts / Good as Hell), Cardi B (Viral from Bodak Yellow) & as you've said, Ava. Cardi B is still a big name but she also hasn't landed a hit with them in some time… Lizzo and Ava. RIP to them. They need to restructure their A&R / scouting team priorities ASAP. Poor Ravyn.

Atlantic is WMGs flagship label and likely their most profitable but they don't seem too big on investing in their less established artists. They offer contracts that trap new artists for 4+ albums and by the time the contract is fulfilled, they're at the same level of success That's a label for moderate - major hitmakers only

Just realized she's at her final stop before becoming independent unless she somehow lands another hit or some kind of success. She's burned her bridge with UMG (Capitol) and Sony (Columbia), now she's at the last of the big 3, Warner (Atlantic). She probably won't have a big budget to work with…

She has 0 media training, 0 personality and no reason to be touching any chart beyond the Bubbling Under chart - and that's still too much grace
