Maroon 5's "Girls Like You," featuring Cardi B, spends a seventh week at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart (dated Nov. 10), again winning a close race over Travis Scott's "Sicko Mode," which holds at its No. 2 high.

"Girls" dips 9-13 on Digital Song Sales, with 14,000 downloads sold, down 18 percent, in the week ending Nov. 1, after leading the list for six weeks, and retreats 12-13 on Streaming Songs (23.2 million U.S. streams, down 5 percent, in the week ending Nov. 1), where it reached No. 5.

Girls Like You:
Radio - #1
Streaming - #13
Sales - #13

The last time the Hot 100 #1 was  the 2000s. :rip:

Yasss Is Ariana opportunity to top next week :duca:

Let me go stream Thank You, next :gaycat2:

Time for Lea Michele to surprise release and snatch the #1 :jonny:

weak digitally/streaming wise, but radio wise it's a monster... that's why it's still number 1.

People in general have no significant interest on current music. Industry should be worried.

streaming is bigger than radio

Ari better snatch. Ugh why didn't she release Friday with a video? :jonny:

I think Shallow and FEFE missing the #1 spot indicates that it's time for Billboard to give more weight to streaming.

Maroon 5 clinging to #1 based on radio, pretends to be shocked.gif

So, this just means that the entire chart is pretty weak.

Basically. If the #1 is weak then the rest of the chart is weaker.

just less weight to radio would be enough :sherlock:

Calm down, nobody was saying it was a weak hit.

Yes, maybe less weight to radio. Radio (especially Pop) can be very fraudulent and biased towards certain demographics. This can be seen in their reluctance to play Shallow despite the fact that it's a streaming monster. I think it's time to put an end to radio's games once and for all.

Neither would be #1 right now even if they did that.

i’m not here for streaming being the primary indicator of #1s tho ... i mean sales are dead so that’s out the window , but if streams completely overtook then we’d have some disastrous flops getting #1s and “hits”. and the top 40 songs would almost entirely be composed of rap. not that that’s an issue , but ..

But that wouldn't help Shallow when it's not even top 20 on overall streaming  :skull:

And FEFE would have been still blocked by In My Feelings which was a streaming monster.

UK charts don't have radio and it's by far one of the most accurate

GLY is still a monster hit tho, but it's being this weak will make room for thank u #1 next :eli:

It’s #13 in both sales and streaming yet still #1 on the Hot 100 :rip:

Radio’s influence on the charts needs to be reduced

Nah, GLY is simply a radio monster and there's no a big hit atm.

I don't understand this thread. Where's the proof it's the weakest #1 since summer 2000? You just posted GLY's stats :rip:
