the streams did not split, it has always been this way. The spotify chart got LWYMMD at about 7m+ while the Spotify App shows that it has receive 10m+.

Since release, I’ve been saying this is her most defining moment & it turns out I was right 

This reinforces my opinion that regular releases is the way to go these days.

 

Hopefully the new album is still coming this year.

This song will die out fast tbh. It's a textbook fad song. I don't think radio is gonna pick it up like they did the Sweetener singles tbh, mostly because of the Sweetener singles. If this was released 6 months from now it would be huge, but she basically released it to capitalize off the Pete breakup, and for that she's going to lose radio's support this time
