Okay being serious this time but I heard tea that Ariana comes off as very sad to my friend and like she has no friends we shouldn't expect her to promote the album and be happy she released anything to begin with.

The fact that the WCBF intro sounding like you're outside a club was her idea... and her being responsible for the silence part of the song. the Lyrics AND the melody. And suggesting strings. Max is obviously a legend but the song would not exist or be this good if someone else got the instrumental. We need more synth pop songs from her where Max let's her take the lead (Unlike during My Everything when she didn't even get to pick final lyrics).

okay now that i've listened to the album more times that i can count, i still believe it's her best album which is what i said before release as well. my only criticisms: - true story is too empty. all it needed was extra violin during the chorus and some of the verse. it's still not a skip like most people say. - yes, and? needed a different bridge. i get the sentiment but it slows down the momentum of the song & is ultimately what led to it doing horrible on streaming and radio. - i wish i hated you chorus melody could have been a little stronger, especially since the second verse is her best written lyrics ever. but it proves that her pen game is superb. these really aren't even that big complaints. the album is still a 10/10 and any of critiques can be subjectively incorrect to other listeners

the way bye, TBIM, supernatural, and even some delusional IFY stans have been fighting over what single #3 should be only for the 1.5 minute long intro to show the most legs when no one suggested it
