why would these times be hard..for me? sis i bought the sound track and am stanning it hard, look at my post's. im proud of gaga but 220k isnt as amazing as her fans think. didn't cardi b do more? lol..

anyways good for gaga to get #1 hope next week it stays there..

Are you comparing cardi’s debut to gaga’s 7th album lmfao.

why would anyone get 500k if Cardi can’t get it herself. Even Ariana only got 231k. So yeah 220k is an amazing number.

And it's still #1 on iTunes :dies: Second week 100k+ incoming, plus Shallow #2 on iTunes and ARUTW now added as well, the tracks stable on iTunes. there's huge potential for another week at #1 tbh, even with Quavo

Shallow is still #1. Never left that spot since it’s release.

sound tracks dont have a hard time selling look at the body guard the great show man ect

The Bodyguard opened with 145k in it's first week :skull:

The Great Showman opened with 106k :skull:

Soundtracks are known to open fairly low and then go on to have longevity. ASIB opened right off the gates real strong and will most likely sell consistently not to mention Shallow is doing well on streaming platforms. Also when you troll don't pu-s-s-y out and then claim to "support Gaga" and "love the soundtrack" or whatever when you get clocked. Own up to your trolling and stand by it like the other f-a-gs on this site. Take your L silently :fan:

some OGHs still trying it in here :dies:

cant wait for them to be eviscerated throughout this whole era

I’m glad Gaga is getting this good reception. Hopefully her next pop album will be more normal and fun and less try-hard artsy due to it.

I remember I stopped stanning during BTW because she got too weird. It’s so weird seeing her be a normal pop star/actress. It’s a much better look

SHE ****ING WON :jonny: These are fantastic numbers for anything in 2018, but for the first week sales of a SOUNDTRACK? :jonny:

once again monsters are being problematic. no one is hating on gaga. 220k is good..for her. just be happy she did 220k and stop dragging me. i said it's god..for her, and praised the sound track, and gave her her dues. now please don't drag other's or bring them down. gaga is talented and did good here but don't be negative to me. i was expecting bigger.. but i didn't say this isn't good too.

You clearly have no idea what numbers are good in today's sales climate, stop embarrassing yourself, like, comparing the sales to the bodyguard

Beating the predictions yet again. Never underestimate the power of GAGA.

Anyways, soundtracks are known to have longevity so opening with 220k could mean it’ll go on to sell more than a million copies. :Jonny:

You know that in the 90s debut weeks were often not that huge? Albums lasted a long time. You can see huge album like Shania’s Come On Over debut with lower sales but consistency and huge week peaks made it sell over 30 million. Mariah’s Daydream opened with like 200k and she scanned 600k+ copies in one of its peak weeks. Same for Bodyguard which was the first album to scan a million in a week. This is not comparable as these days the debut is always the biggest week sales for an album. Still fantastic numbers for ASIB but soundtracks have always sold well just with more weeks and build to its credit since that’s how sales use to be
