Not at all :dies:

Urban music dominates Apple Music which is a 100% paid subscription streaming service and the leading audio streaming service in the US currently.

Youtube still doesn't count, right?

How do you give more weight to pure sales for albums?

The Hot 100's new formula is giving more weight to pure sales so I'm assuming it's the same for the BB 200.

Free streams have a lot less weight on the chart now (from 1 sale = 1,500 streams to 1 sale = 3,750 streams).

It doesn't, it only counts towards the H100

BB200 doesn't use the points formula. BB200 units = pure sales + (track sales/10) + (premium streams/1250) + (ad supported streams/3750)

There is no weighting among the components . Whoever gets more units in absolute numbers will chart higher.

They don't :)

im curious as to who is listening to BTD? Not shade, just curious her demographic.

It seems that rather than pure sales getting a boost, streaming took a hit. I hope that makes sense financially.

I use Apple Music so i don't know a thing about Spotify. Are there many songs that free Spotify account can't access to?

nope, the free tier on Spotify is super open. the only thing (in my experience) is that you can't listen properly on mobile. they shuffle all of the songs and you get a lot of commercials. but free Spotify on desktop is great

Nothing has changed financially, the BB200 isn't a revenue chart. People are still getting the same amount of streams counted and the same amount of money for streams, they just might chart higher or lower depending on how mant streams of each kind, paid and ad-supported, they have.

#168 Dangerous Woman (+10) - 105 weeks on the chart

I didn't list it cause it was #166 two weeks ago (the week before the new formula took effect)
