I was thinking of two 21st century female-fronted rock bands rates, both with this lineup: Alabama Shakes vs Evanescence vs Florence and The Machine vs Paramore vs Wolf Alice vs Yeah Yeah Yeahs.

In the first one, we'll rate their breakthrough albums (Boys and Girls / Fallen / Lungs / RIOT! / Visions of Love / Fever to Tell), while in the second one their magnum opera (Sound and Color / The Open Door / HBHBHB / After Laughter / Blue Weekend / It's Blitz!). I can open the thread next week, if you want to!

I talked about hosting a Jessie Ware discography rate a bit ago and if that is approved to go I can start that up in the next couple weeks now that the drag race one is done.

Also I was thinking more YYY/Paramore/Rilo Kiley/Evanescence? Then F+TM/Wolf Alive/Alabama Shakes and one other for a 2009 onwards rate? (we can't forget Jenny Lewis and her boys.)

This was also my initial idea! But the concept of a "Breakthrough vs Magnum opus" rate was just too good, and it doesn't help that Paramore and YYY released their most acclaimed works after 2009
