hmmm... it actually sounds much better than i recalled. gonna add it to my '88 playlist.

from her second one i liked the lead single, "no souvenirs," but the rest is just so blah.

Emeli Sande/Paloma Faith/Joss Stone/Corinne Bailey Rae/Leona Lewis/Duffy/Rebecca Fergusson/Birdy/Clare Maguire/Natasha Bedingfield all come to mind off the top of my head. Maybe Dido too though her album sales I think still do well when she pops up every once in a while with a new album. Could throw in some like Jessie J/Rita Ora/Alexandra Burke/Little Boots/Cher Lloyd if we wanted a wider genre spread, but I think maybe it's cleaner without them.

Could rate their big singles from when they were having their moment and then a small sampling of a couple of their flop-era singles to assess if the UK abandoning was justice or tragic.

Yeah, I have Stranger Things Have Happened on vinyl somewhere and we used to be mutuals on Twitter way back when and DMed occasionally but as soon as the NFT thing happened I was out of there
