29. Justin Timberlake - CAN'T STOP THE FEELING! :jonny: With two dark green updates in a row. OMG immortal song, I think the performance on the Oscars will have a huge effect. Holding really well for almost a year!

Literally the UF! of 2016 (sales wise)

I whole heartedly believe Taylor will have a 1M selling week at the end of the year, but other than that I don't see anybody getting to much higher than 500k. Maybe Katy?

Okay, let me add this disclaimer, I'm not trying to start a Stan war between Katy's, Taylor's, and/or Adele's fans.

I'll put Swift at 650-700k sales, but with Spotify up in the air, I'm not sure how she'll do for SPS (800-850k?).

Remember, 25 was the biggest selling album for all of 2016, and it still only sold 1.6 M copies. That shows how much that market has declined. If anyone can still open with over 1 M in sales, that's Adele, but even then there's no way now she could come close to the 3.4 M opening of 25 again.

As for Katy, she opened up with a little less than 300k for Prism, and that was coming off of the amazingly successful Teenage Dream. Since Katy's leadoff single keeps struggling on ITunes, I'm going to say 150k sales, 200-225k SPS.

Yeah, Feeling should hit 3 M by the end of 2017, and I expect Closer to do the same. Closer will have a solid end of year bounce because it's still going at radio, but Feeling probably won't, since it peaked in 2016.

"My House" will also cross the 3M mark this year.

Yeah, as should Sorry and Love Yourself. I was just going with 2016 releases. I know Fight Song will too, if it hasn't happened already. Kworb has FS estimated at 2.9 M.

I don't think "Sorry" and "Love Yourself" will get to 3M. They've been stucked at 2,7M and will probably stall at 2,8M... He's not strong in catalog sells.

I thought the last updates by Kworb had him at 2.87-2.88 M for those two songs, LY just barely ahead of Sorry. Maybe I transposed the 7 and 8 though. Hopefully Hello can reach 5 M before 2017 ends.

Updated numbers:

2,980,000 Fight Song (~4k weekly)
2,810,000 Love Yourself (~5k weekly)
2,800,000 Sorry (~4k weekly)
2,740,000 My House (~5k weekly)
2,652,000 Can't Stop the Feeling! (~22k weekly)
2,480,000 Closer (~24k weekly)

Kworb's total sales take the Complete The Album effect into account, so they are actually at 2,7M... "What Do You Mean?" isn't even at 2M yet :rip:

Subtracted sales due to "Complete My Album" are still included.

Both "Love Yourself" and "Sorry" are around ~2,72M.

And those 5k and 4k sells for "Love Yourself" and "Sorry" were due to Grammys boost :rip: They will go back to 2k and 3k respectively next week.

I don't think purpose is selling that many units for its compete my album amounting to that big a cut.

His singles have been substracted by approximately 100k... "Purpose" sold 1,7M copies in the US, so 100k for Complete My Album effect is really small...

"What Do You Mean?" was the one that suffered the most... Its substracted sales are around 200k, which is expected as it was the lead single...

"Purpose" did sell more than 1.8 million so cutting 100k from singles sales due to "complete my album" is not that big.

For comparison sake, Kworb has "Hello" at 5.53 million without "complete my album", but the official itunes numbers are 4.83 million. That's 700k deduction due to CMA on 9.25 million sold albums. So I think @DELE2125 is not that much off with his  projections.

Gaga back into the Top 5. She'll be back at #4 if Selena keeps falling.:fan:

So we can have a thousand page thread of trashing Katy's single performance but one post about Lana's iTunes performance is flamebait. :ace:
