HDD: Drake 1 million?
yes, but it will be different Billboard will have multiple weighted tiers of streaming plays for the Hot 100, which take into account paid subscription streams (representing a full point value per play), ad-supported streams (representing a 2/3-point value per play) and programmed streams (representing a 1/2-point value per play). Those values are then applied to the chart’s formula alongside all-genre radio airplay and digital song sales data. Streaming remains the most dominant factor on the chart, followed by radio airplay and digital sales in descending order of significance.

paid steams are 1250:1 (were 1500:1) + ad-supported streams are 3750:1

DRAKE'S SCORPION: THE PRE-GAME SHOW Drake has dropped the trailer for new YMCMB/Republic set Scorpion (due 6/29), and the biz is abuzz with speculation about how it might perform in its first week. Will it have a seven-figure bow, all in? What role might a bundle play? How will Drizzy's brutal diss war with Pusha T affect the narrative? Will Drake reclaim his previous record for most first-week streams (385m), currently held by Post Malone (431m)? What streaming records will Scorpion set? Will Drake fans stream Scorpion enough times in its first week for it to surpass one million in total. How will the new weighted chart rules, which give more weight to subscriber streams, impact/benefit Scorpion? One thing's for sure: All eyes are on the streaming giant, whose mixtape More Life debuted at 505k (225k albums) in 2017, and whose proper album Views bowed with 1.04m all in (855k albums) the previous year.

'Black Panther: The Album' Heading for Second Week at No. 1 on Billboard 200 Chart Black Panther: The Album is set for a second week atop the Billboard 200 chart, according to industry forecasters. Prognosticators suggest the set — which is the companion album to the blockbuster Marvel Studios film Black Panther — could earn around 130,000 equivalent album units in the week ending Feb. 22. That would follow the album’s No. 1 debut on the chart, after it tallied 154,000 units in the frame ending Feb. 15, according to Nielsen Music. Notably, Black Panther: The Album’s second week on the chart will reflect the impact of the film’s huge debut in movie theaters on Feb. 16. The album’s opening week reflected the tracking week ending Feb. 15.- Shake It Off goes Diamond
