outof curiousity what song(s) spent the most weeks discounted on iTunes? I swear that Gold song was discounted for months. Is it between Gold and MR?

"Let Me Love You" has been discounted for a long time as well, probably two months. "Mercy" and "All Time Low" too.

 

Nothing wrong with it though, seems like a smart thing to do in this new age of low digital sales.

I believe "Gold" holds the current record, followed closely by "I Hate U, I Love U" and "Hymn For The Weekend".

It peaked at #13 on the Hot100.

Gold also did quite well on radio, reaching #10 overall with a peak of 96.9M. Its weak link was streaming.

Sorry about that. I really thought they were this past Sunday. now that you've said this, I do remember they're 26 February. Now I know why Feelings didn't get the boost Sunday lol.

So, checking Kworb's archives, "Gold" was first discounted on June 3rd and the discount was removed on November 10th. That would be 23 weeks discounted, or 5 months and 3 weeks. It peaked at #3 on iTunes.
