AATB and SIO were also interchanging for the top 2 slots on itunes last 2014. I'd be happy if the same happens for Sam and Tay this time.

whatever she is selling its still more than anybody else. And she's doing brilliantly on streaming too. And radio should be very good to her. A video is out and she has some hugely viewed videos. Hopefully the video will keep the song high 4th week.

 

Taylor is doing just fine. Numbers are relative where chart placings are concerned. Its not even one of her best or most commercial songs so Im well impressed. The public are still there for her, clearly.

Hm lets not go THAT far. she's not in adeles league as much as her fans like to think she is. 1.1 million was never on the cards(or whatever silly 2017 equivelant they were suggesting using that wonky deflation ATRL calculator) and 3.38 million is not a remote possibility for her album. Even with phony SPS numbers.

Nothing phony about SPS numbers. Sure would be better to have first week SPS numbers for 1989 too to really compare, but that's a small enough error. 

Streaming creates revenue exactly like sales do... Unless you mean the double counting of single sales as the problem with SPS. Then I agree.
