That person was joking but I love her music (and I'm not your honey). I personally think the top streaming song is crap. It's all a matter of taste.

Do you Stan for Spotify? This is the sales thread and she's not flopping in sales.

How can you expect her flop era to top or equal one of her top eras? Anything over 1 million for a flop era would be great. She does not have to top 1989, no reasonable person expects that. Well you did say similar and not top. So nevermind.

Is this not the most successful flop album of all time?

Taylor ties Rihanna on Hot Digital Songs.
The # of hot 100 #1 comparisons in an effort to drag is stale. Especially since more then half of rihannas are features. Pretty sure that's why solo was mentioned in the first place. Congrats to Taylor, keep flopping in style.

Taylor biggest drop on Radio Songs history
Every time I come to this section I get a warning for off topic but since you asked. Why not release it as the lead? Get it out of the way and clear the path for what you really want your era to be about. Drama does not sell songs, it makes them flop. Did you forget the two folks who used drama to go after her in song? It didn't help their songs sell. So please stop using the drama sells, it does not.

Kworb: Gorgeous vs Thunder, 59K vs 58K
That's very close. Whoever gets it will set the record for smallest #1. For that reason, we need Taylor to set that record. She's already on a roll with biggest radio drop. We can't stop now.

"doesn't engage in petty fights to get controversy or headlines to sell her material. " why not just agree that look has done the job that SHE wanted it to do. Give her a #1 hit all around. No matter where its placement is now, it was a #1 streaming hit. IMO, her feuds were not petty. She was on tour and felt employees were being taken away from her. She was speaking on the phone to a person claiming to be a friend and ended up being recorded without her knowledge and that was released to the internet. I think Adele would also stand up for herself if those things happened to her and she was constantly called snake (the name kim gave her) and mean girl (name katy gave her) because of it. Clearly she was hurt enough by those things that she felt the need to respond. Diss tracks have not done well lately. From famous to swish swish the only two that saw any type of success were bad blood and lwymmd. IMO, she never made either of those tracks to serve longevity but to pad her personal numbers to make those she's feuding with peeved. I am sure she would have been far more hurt had swish swish and famous done as well as bb or lwymmd. I think she is quite satisfied.

P!nk #1 | Biggest female first-week sales of 2017
Like her single, Taylor will likely jump straight to #1 largest debut of 2017 (genders combined) then it will be quickly shamed as not being big enough just like with lwymmd.

Final: #5 Miley 47K; Demi loses #2 by 1K.
Mikey had that bangers era where she acted wild. Now she's back acting normal. She has confused people and that's why she came in third here. In other words, nobody is buying the sudden change.

Bruno Mars has a better case because he's super successful like Ed Sheeran. They don't start off with vevo views of 43 million in 24 hours and 19 million for a lyric video. They have much more room to grow. IMO, there is a difference with following a huge era with great numbers vs. record breaking numbers. When you start off breaking records there is no place to go but down and fast unless you plan on being in the face of the public reminding them of how great you are and the records you've set. Taylor simply disappeared and has not even thanked the fans for setting those records for her. The public will not keep working for an artist who is mia. That's fine, she got what she clearly wanted out of lwymmd. I guess her thanks was giving them another song 9 days later. When Adele set the vevo record for Hello I remember her doing interviews. Taylor? Crickets. She didn't even acknowledge the hot 100 #1. By comparison Cardi has been thanking everyone under the sun which gives her song more exposure. Why Taylor paid every accomplishment with lwymmd dust is a turn off for the casual fan. Diehard swifties might not care. But a casual fan like me will stop streaming for sure.

That's the one drawback of starting with record breaking numbers. There is nowhere to go but down and the descend will be at a much faster rate then average because the ascend was at a much faster rate then average. With an artist like Taylor what would she rather have at this point? A lead single that started out humongous breaking YouTube, vevo and Spotify records and because of that is on a fast decline on all those formats. Or, a lead single that started "respectful" and slowly rising (like a normal artist). Uh, I think she'd pick humongous record breaking because she's already had the slow rising longevity. She's a superstar album artist, she does not have to worry about a lead single Spotify and vevo numbers at this point if she cared she could um....promote. I am certain any talk show and radio show will clear the schedule any time of day. 25 descended far faster then 21 for those same record breaking reasons. I think Adele also prefers the records over the longevity.

I watched it and she was adorable. However, the deejay was trying to turn it into a feud, imo. I don't understand what it is with men trying to make this into some kind of feud and the mere thought that they might have talked is an insult to some. And my gosh, my saying she hated her was for your pleasure, not something I actually believe.

If post Malone starts tweeting about how much he loves Cardi in the next week, the call has been made. ?. If Cardi disappears we know why. Oh why did I even have the nerve to have an opinion. Not a Stan. Just not a hater either.
