This analytics is clearly not about the word "analysis."

But Liddos told us that Taylor only became successful in 2020s and was a flop in 2010s

Taylor Swift's album certainly wasn't the second most popular one in 2010 - it couldn't even compete with any other albums on the pic'. The only reason why she is there is because of the streaming era which drastically boosts all of her projects' sales. Absolutely not representative of their success and popularity during their release year rip

Ah yes, 1989 certainly wasn't popular in 2014-15

treacherous

congrats to Taylor but the reason why a few of those albums are there is bc of the Taylormania of the past few years and not representative of how successful those eras were pre-2023

At this rate of TOTGA, Katy might even surpass Adele.

Not 1989 not being big back then when in the US, the biggest market in the world, it:

  • Spent 11 weeks at #1

  • Spent a full year in the top ten

  • Went #3 → #1 → #17 → #101 → #82 → #116 on the Year End charts

  • Was literally in the same position under the same other album on the Decade End chart

Born this way top 15 jonny5

Crazy how Rihanna only has one album within the top 15 tho. Where's ANTI?

Also Beyonce N/A skull

Billie's EP being there is always shocking to me because I always forget she was already popular before her first album

In the 2010s Taylor's abums ranked #2, #5, #7, #10 and #12

In the 2020s they rank #4, #5, #6 and #10

Always a runner-up, never the biggest winner…

Rihanna's recurrents have got a lot stronger this year though.

If it holds up, Loud will soon pass SN and enter the t10 annd Unapologetic will enter the t15 in the next couple of years.
