Such a bs frivolous lawsuit. This makes me legitimately angry because if they win this could threaten songwriters everywhere just for having similar ideas. Copyright laws are there to prevent outright theft, not give anyone who writes a song a complete monopoly on that concept. Extremely selfish and reckless to pursue this lawsuit just to make a buck, disgusting behavior honestly. Does he really think Sam Smith heard, let alone copied, an indie flop that to this DAY has only 15k streams on Spotify?
