I disagree categorically. I am speaking as someone from a Muslim country where being gay is illegal (and half the queer community on this planet can relate because homosexuality is criminalized/isn't tolerated wiiiidely). We've had straight women specifically, lead witch hunts by creating facebook groups outing gay men that they catfish on gay apps. Personally speaking, there is no way in hell I would trust a straight woman here over a fellow gay man who has the same specific problems that I have. Often times, straight women are also upholding the same systems that oppress us both.
