Taylor Swift - 'The Life of a Showgirl'
Fantastic album! Current faves are Ophelia, Opalite, Father Figure, but everything is good. Max has always had adult contemporary sensibilities, but I can understand feeling letdown by the subdued production. It is a little Ryan Tedder, and against all odds, Jack Antonoff. The only weaker point for me is Elizabeth Taylor which is seemingly well-liked. Being sandwiched between Ophelia and Opalite has the girls ah-matized.

Taylor Swift - 'The Life of a Showgirl'
I panned the podcast rollout but the most recent clip is cute and she has loved a football tie-in long before Travis. I will never forget hearing the snippet of Ready for It on that ESPN ad Wasn't ME! also announced at the NFL Draft?

Taylor Swift - 'The Life of a Showgirl'
We want the album cover unveiled on the Sphere for the full Vegas showgirl fantasy. I fear we'll just get Jason Kelce pretending to be gagged about it on a football podcast instead, if the showgirl concept is executed as faithfully as whatever that department was supposed to be.

Sabrina Carpenter - "Manchild"
The ABBA tribute act thing is so tired.

2025 lacks new hits. Did Sabrina fumble her moment to push Bed Chem, Juno, and BW?
People act like these were going to be Espresso-level and they couldn't even outperform Taste.

Taylor Swift - "Look What You Made Me Do (Taylor's Version)"
I refuse to believe that is the best take she could get in six years.

Beyoncé ★ Cowboy Carter Tour ★ Las Vegas: FINAL SHOW
Amazing setlist, the artistic vision that that has. She said NO to cheap nostalgia greatest hits tours.

Charli XCX discusses BRAT; not sure if she wants to let it go or keep going
All of this over a meme and a tiktok dance

There hasn't been an album with more than 3 #1s on the Hot 100 since Teenage Dream
Yes it's easier than ever with frontloaded #1 debuts left and right. Drake almost got three in the span of a month with his last album and it was supposedly an underperformance

Ariana: "The more successful the music became, the more people tried to destroy me"
I am rooting for her to get the Oscar but this narrative just doesn't stick. Her music career had been inactive for years when the backlash happened. There are many many cases of "building them up just to tear them down" syndrome and Ethangate is not one of them.

thoughts on re-branding of Addison Rae? be honest.
The niche she is carving is too narrow for her potential. Selena's scrapped Bad Liar/Fetish era is a good blueprint for her.

HDD: Future #1 129k, Chappell #2 118k, Katy #8 44k
So about the same as One of the Boys (2008). The STABILITY after 16 years

There is no difference between brat and 143. Surprised?
They literally share a producer on several tracks, not sure why people would act like this is so outlandish. "360", "Rewind", "365" Charli XCX - Brat "Wonder" Katy Perry - 143

Fortnight hate tweet goes mega viral
The fumes over an award that was voted on through Instagram stories, I can't. Not to mention the responses here...Swifties and OTHs alike don't deserve this beautiful hymn.

Taylor Swift - 'THE TORTURED POETS DEPARTMENT'
Fortnight SWEEP Congratulations to a flawless lead single and a cute video meanwhile... the endless clowning for Rep TV when we all know the narrative will immediately shift to "botched!!!11" "bring back Max" "Midnights leftovers!!" the second it hits streaming services.

Taylor Swift endorses Kamala Harris, breaks silence on Trump's AI scandal
The audacity of "about time" OTHs. If she had endorsed earlier in the summer she would have wasted her political capital on a lame duck Joe Biden or got lost in the hype of the Kamala honeymoon. Yet again she played her cards flawlessly. The sad part is the clock is already ticking for her to endorse Kamala's 2028 re-election campaign before the SLANDER starts again.

Unpopular Opinion: Glory is Britney's worst album
MAKE ME... is flawless, it's very 2016 but perfect execution on the (pre)chorus. Private Show is also amazing and sounds like a better album track off Sweetener.

Taylor: no song in the top 20. Why does she keep picking horrible singles?
The GP isn't here for Taylor singles since 1989 and the new generation of Swifties would rather speculate endlessly about the next Taylor's Version rather than stream the brand new album.

Taylor Swift - 'THE TORTURED POETS DEPARTMENT'
I would say she abandoned the era after one week but it didn't even make it that long.

Taylor Swift - 'THE TORTURED POETS DEPARTMENT'
I touched you for only a fortnight I touched you, but I touched you I keep going to listen to the album but get stuck on this 80's masterpiece. And the outro is so underrated. Thought of calling ya, but you won't pick up 'Nother fortnight lost in America Move to Florida, buy the car you want But it won't start up 'til I touch, touch, touch you LOST IN AMERICA would've been an iconic album title with a road trip/americana theme inspired by the legendary U.S. leg.

Taylor's songwriting skills are questioned in massive viral tweet
Screaming at "lacking minimalism" what does that even mean?
