Experiencing things I was used to since I was young become "trendy" again just makes me feel old asf. I have a pair of bluetooth headphones for convienience but I love I can actually hear every instrument with my wired ones. It's only inconvienient when they're tangled AF. AND stupid Iphone cancelled the headphone plug in so I have to use a adapter for them and they get broken VERY easily. istg the WORST design change ever.

Clowns when they hear 'bounce on it, no hands' OT: I enjoyed Cowboy Carter. to me Cowboy Carter is more of a study on "American" music [in music form]. and because country is a big part of American root music, this album is heavily country/Americana, but that doesn't make it a fully country record. it's also heavy with blues, pop and other genres. Beyoncé's background means she was never going to make a traditional country record, and she doesn't need to. But as a Southern American she has every right and clearly the interest to make a eclectic pop record that incorporates country elements. considering how difficult it is for her to pull off the concept because no one really taught her how to make this kind of record (something that doesn't lose her own identity while still remaining authentic to the traditions of the genres) she did a pretty good job with it. Just last year, an Irish singer named CMAT released a country-inflected pop-rock record, and I didn't see anyone saying **** about it. btw it's a great record too.
