How are 80% of users on a music forum not aware that touring is not lucrative most of the time for artists that aren't huge A-listers? I'm happy she's really transparent and open about it though.

I get hating on tracks like Animal, Gnarly, Pinky Up or Internet Girl, but the internet is trying too hard with this. This song is a pure bop. Dare I say one of their best. The only thing, and main reason I cant take them seriously, is why the hell they got this brazillian funk song in the first place. Why is there portuguese and why are these korean and american born girls singing in a brazillian accent? The song is good, but everything about this is a mess.

Tinashe clears like almost everyone

This has grown on me. Listened to the whole album like 3 times on my way to work and back today and it definitely got better. I'll still say, it's a collection of really good songs, that, on another album would be up for a discussion of being underrated gems, but that's the whole problem. It lacks clear highlights, imo the message and narrative of the album are not conveyed successfully. The project as a whole is still a 6.5-7 for me, as I rated it the first time, but that tells me that I might have simply been generous.

Just got through my first listen. Bit of a rough start with kiss me and the singles. I'm usually a fan of Arianas openers, but kiss me doesn't compare to the others. Lyrically speaking, this might also be her weakest album for me. If you're going for a sonically stripped-back, minimalist sound, the lyrics need to be more ambitious. I'm not a fan of the many lyrical repetitions or the lyrics that have clearly been squeezed in to fit the melody. I saw many people praising freak, but after not even liking that one, I genuinely wanted to stop right there, but I'm glad I didnt. The last four songs are the best tracks on the album and elevate the project. My least favourite album of hers. I'd give it a 6.5-7/10.

This is their second worst single up to date. The song is sounds uninspired and the music video reflects it tbh.

The only celebrity here that had an impact on the episode and its rating was Gaga, and maaaaaaybe Miley.

Is this good or bad? Havent been tapped in with labels in a long time. I need someone to explain what this could mean.

I get why they're waiting with the Eurosommer MV release tbh. Imagine your lead single from a year ago, your collab from last year and your hit from a decade ago all currently peaking at the same time. Like damn ***** Shakira has already released her own fifa anthem, I'd expect them to wait it out a bit and drop the Eurosommer MV end of June / in July. Would also be a good strategic move from them to wait for the world cup to start to ride the wave a bit and claim some of the hype around it.

Again, dense.... This means people are streaming old hits for nostalgic reasons, not because people are still interested in them as artists. Just looked at Katys 2024 release and there's a song that hasn't even reached 2 million streams yet. There is your answer.
