Xcancel is CANCELED

Featured Replies

XCancel was a website that bypassed users that don't want to log in, or support X. Users would simply type "cancel" after the "X" in an "X.com" link and it would redirect the twitter link through Xcancel.com. You could view twitter replies and watch videos with no issues.

On Monday, Musk sent them a cease and desist. RIP my xcancel porn tabs that I now can't refresh or the link will be gone forever.

On Monday 24th August at 8PM EST, we received at letter from X Corp. asking to cease and desist the service XCancel.
The service XCancel is stopped until further notice.
We are seeking legal advice and won't share more details for now.
Thank you for the trust you have put in these two years of XCancel.

There's one more service that does what xcancel does except you can't click on the main tweet to read replies below it. If anyone wants me it, message me. I ain't giving the tea to the public.

There are and will continue to be other sites popping up clap Smellon Musk can rot

what would Dolly do?

Oh she would probably support military interventions in the middle east and do fundraisers for Israel, in between singing Jolene and I Will Always Love You and smiling

xcancel is back with a new legal disclaimer and so is nitter

https://nitter.net/

On 24 August 2026 cease and desist letters were sent by X Corp. demanding a permanent takedown of Nitter instances and the project's repository.

Following legal advice, the Nitter project will continue. This instance and others will be back up and running shortly. An announcement will be made within a week, once we're able to reveal more information.
