Probably an unpopular opinion here but: Lady Gaga doesn't really has a body of work on this level. She has good collections of songs on her first couple album releases but most of her discography is actually below average when you analise it: artpop, joanne, chromatica, the jazz albums, the joker inspired release. The Fame / Monster, this album and Mayhem are the best ones but still nowhere near the best albums on the years they released.

Born This Way is Gaga's best album for sure, but there is still plenty of filler, whereas C2 is a skipless album!

C2 wins easily.

I don't really have a frame of reference to compare them, they are different albums aiming for different things. I guess I personally enjoy CII because it's more slickly produced and not that noisy and brickwalled but BTW is an achievement as well.

Both very good but btw is literally my fave album by my fave artist so that.

Confessions 2, BTW kind of feels like a random collection of good songs she wrote and don't really go together as a cohesive piece of work

There are some songs that I like from BTW but it's nowhere near as good as Monsters claim it is in my humble opinion. Gaga has better albums.
