I love her down and this bops but this is a weird way to capitalize on the hype she has buzzing around her right now. Write a proper second verse! Give us another minute! A rap verse also would have really sold it. I'm not getting replay value yet—but I hope it'll make sense in the context of the album.

Oh I don't care whether it's a hit. I like Tinashe's music better when she's not chasing trends. I just hoped she would use the goodwill she has right now to create something more inventive, and this just feels lightweight and underwritten. How is her music getting less introspective and less interesting as she gets older? Seeing her hanging out with Kelela and Rochelle Jordan had my expectations a biT too high for some innovative dance/R&B.

Tinashe is my #1, and I still have high hopes for the album, but I just know she's capable of so much more than the ~hot party girl~ TikTok schtick.

I'm genuinely just happy that she managed to have such an incredible year in numbers. But for me, her last few projects felt more like she was on autopilot rather than truly evolving as an artist. This album, though, actually feels fresh and inspired

Have you heard the album?! That's what I want to hear I agree—I enjoyed BB/ANG3L more than Quantum Baby, and her Machinedrum work definitely felt like a solid direction for her, but I don't think I've been fully in love with an album of hers since Songs for You/333. My dream for this album is for Nightride-era Tinashe to go to the club!

I did, this feels like a proper follow-up to 333, trust me. The production is rich, tempo switches are back, she's exploring electronic music while once again pushing the boundaries of both R&B and her own sound, and it's fun as hell
