I love Chappell, but I don't find her first album groundbreaking. She has so much to prove yet. Maybe this is a hot take—controversial opinion—but I feel like Chappell and Olivia should move a bit away from Dan Nigro. Work with him but not for everything. Try new producers* too

First of all.......She's a white woman from the United States and they have it easier to stay longterm chart wise, she's also so stunning-gorgeous, a crazy talented performer with interesting visuals and costumes, and amazing vocals. Gen z live for her

I think she will last as long as she doesn't get involved in new controversies. We all know what happened to Demi. People get over the first ones, but there was a point where it was just too much for people and she ruined her mainstream appeal. Her sexuality could be something stopping her. Thats the only thingg. is rare for lesbian artists to have this power but at the same time that loyal fanbase is helpin her like pink

I honesty feel like she will get bigger and bigger with time....but she's takin too long for the record
if she waits 4 years for an album. Definitely the goodwill will not be the same

She's kind of in the same awkward place Doja put herself in. Pop stars are supposed to be aspirational and elusive. Everyone just thinks of Chappel as a vapid Karen now and it's ruined all her mystique.

Such extravagant, pretentious type of artists rarely survive for long. She looks like a person lacking maturity and focus to control her career. Probably she will slowly fade away.

Hard to say but she definitely didn't take adavantage of her moment in the right way like Sabrina did for example, we'll see with her next releases.

I think the next album could be huge (whenever it might be coming) but after that she might struggle to be big if she doesn't evolve

Her recently singles have had high debuts but crumbled quickly. If she couldn't get a song as excellent as the Subway to stick, I think it's over for her as a mainstream chart force.

Her next release/album will likely be front loaded as well especially if she takes her time. She's looking more like Lorde/Lana than Billie/Olivia.

On a perfect world where she didn't turn people off with her antics i would say her momentum was just building. Her debut alberm has all the signs of a warm up for something better/bigger if she plays her cards right.
