So, it's basically 2 samples, Lizzo and Ricky Reed + Blake Slatkin, who also made the two DOA singles last year. Which kind of shows that the album isn't really shelved. Probably just retitled and repackaged. And that would explain why they tried to launch it using a song she already performed on SNL in promotion of the canceled album. It's the same album. Not looking promising

I think this is the strongest one of the 3 songs she's put out so far. Her lyricism is terrible and very childish / Meghan Trainor-y in places (If you call me bad things, I'm gon' be bad, baby???) but the production is TOP tier and I actually enjoyed what they did with both samples. It's a very pleasant song.

I don't think this can really do much for her right now? Any momentum is gone and it's a response to an expired situation. Nobody calls her a ***** in 2026, they just don't check for her. She should have led off with this last year instead of that "rock" song that wasn't rock.

This is actually really good! I would love a whole album with this sound from Lizzo. It sounds mature but also still very "Lizzo". Video is solid too.

I think going in a more adult-contemporary direction would benefit Lizzo. The pop era was fun and successful for her, but with her current reputation it doesn't sit as well with listeners.
