from the Popjusticesquare insider

I'd say, the next single is what Gabriela was to Gnarly.

If I heard the single, and who knows if I have, I would guess a big songwriter did it for them and it's super radio friendly.

they also said Iconic by Mistake was not originally a Katseye-only song

They teased a bit more

Think the new single is an Ed Sheeran penned track

I've read the coffee about the 2nd single and idk, I was already expecting it to sadly be less edgy and over the top than PINKY UP (SOTY), but I'm a bit scared from how safe it might be. I get that Gabriela is their most successful track, but that's such a faceless track. PINKY UP is the track that truly made me into a fan, I hope they'll at least release an up-tempo chick3

They need a more radio friendly song, they haven't had one since "Gabriela".

"Pinky Up" and "Iconic By Mistake" are both fine but all these 'in your face' tracks could kill their momentum in the long run.

PINKY UP delivers a mix of Eurodance, K-Pop and Hyperpop with a sprinkle from the rave scene. It stands out and is perfect for Europe. I'd definitely wish for an album full of PINKY UPs rather than one with bland mid pop songs crafted for the American general public.

Songs like Gabriela are interchangeable artist-wise, PINKY UP has a clear identity and vision.
