been stanning for 12 years and this is crazy good. her best easily. never heard her sing like this and she pushed her pen even HARDER (which is crazy cus she's been on a roll since IWGUIW)

As a long long long term fan this is the Kehlani album of my dreams. She channelled 00s R&B without being reductive and making cheap copy sounding songs.

Shes already shown over a decade that she can write and sing a good R&B song so it feels natural for her to do this and capitalise on the trend right now while keeping her perfect pop/R&B balance.

It's so immediate but I know I'm going to have these songs on loop for ages. It's smooth, her vocals are fantastic and the songs aren't boring and really stand out individually. The production and mixing is so much smoother and more expensive than her past few eras. It makes a huge difference here and she's shining. Love u Kehlani

Ooh, I Need You, Shoulda Never, Cruise Control, Pocket are my initial standouts from the new tracks.

Claiming Cruise Control. That song is heavenly. It sounds like a brandy song, surprised this wasn't the ft brandy was actually on.

Yeah agree, I even like the song just not the T-Pain verse haha it's so jarring

I am so so so proud of her. This album is her best, she really spent time making sure each song was perfect. And it really feels like something from the early 2000s without feeling reductive. I'll be listening to this all summer!

The Brandy Collab gave me CHILLS . I had to replay it a few times before I moved on .

those two key changes in the song with brandy... see when you make the songs 3-4+ min so they can develop

Back and Forth clicked and grew like crazy within the Album a BOP !

Folded was one of my favorite songs of last year. Vibing with this hard. The melodies are so damn good. No Such Thing, Oooh, Shoulda Never, You Got It and Pocket are the standouts so far.
