i agree it feels like it could be a grower. i do like the chorus quite a bit, but maybe the verses are a little drawn out. hope i like the pacing more in the album's full context.

I love the verses but the chorus is a little bit weak. I was expecting another euphoric chorus like the lead.

The outro is fantastic tho.

as an avid muna fan, i'm not either :( i realise it gets so hot is more of an album opener (at 2:41), but that was the sound (very about u) i was hoping for from them. the first teasers of their return had me so excited… the two singles have done very little for me. hoping there will be more of that sound palette on the album.

It's really good in a later The 1975 album interlude way. Second single though, strange choice. I do really like it though and I kinda like that it means there's more bangers held back for album release.

this is really cute but I can't lie that at first listen I was a bit disappointed that they didn't go full for-the-jugular perfect pop chorus à la Home by Now but the switchup is very beautiful and I can feel that this'll be a grower

Pretty boring and totally unadventurous tbqh .. but the outro is cool
