KAROL G - 'NO ME ARREPIENTO DE SENTIR TANTO'
Still is a smash, I don't get why everyone's dragging it. Yeah her accent is thick but that adds to it in my opinion. The thing I'm wondering is if it samples Somewhere We Only Know by Keane because the verses literally have the same melody.

Swedish House Mafia & Lykke Li - "Happiness Is So Sad"

Ariana Grande - 'petal'
As someone who was really looking forward to this album, I think I need a bit more time with it. After first listen, it's a bit jarring - not bad - but a bit… confusing? The production is very samey on every song and the vocal mixing is so muddy I can't quite understand anything she's saying. The choruses are also quite flat, like I'd argue that Hate That I Made You Love Me is the only one with a standout chorus. On the positive side, I do like the instrumental production, it's very creative and the Imogen Heap inspiration is probably the strongest on this album which is what I love when she taps into. Freak stood out to me as a highlight as well as Oh Well and Bad Thing. I think more of the songs will become clearer and more enjoyable with more listens as I start to understand the lyrics and recognize the melodies. Not her more instant album but not her worst at all.

Charli xcx - 'Music, Fashion, Film'
Wink Wink and Camera were my favourite pre-release singles, thoughnothing has connected with me like every other album she's released. After two listens (which did not take long at all) I don't mind this album. It's not an instant album but BRAT wasn't instant for me either. My favourites so far are: • 2007 — Very Classic Charli, the repetitive chorus with the simple repeated beat underneath. It's kind of Focus's moody emo sister. • Persona — One of the rare "full" songs on the album. This is what I was expecting most of the album to sound like. Nice fuzzy bop. • Yeah — Lyrics are lazy af and she'll say that's on purpose. Love the beat on it, wish there was more to the song itself. Love the slowed down bit. • I'm Afraid — Probably my favourite I'd say. The dramatic out of tune horns are kind of amazing and the whole vibe of the track is excellent. Again, I just wish there was more depth to the song. The overall problem with this album is just how unfinished it is. It just sounds like demos with half finished ideas. Again, she'll say that's on purpose and that's absolutely fine if that's what she wants to put out but the thing I've disliked about this era is the pretentiousness and the blasé "rah!! so anti-zeitgeist, too cool to be a pop star, dismantling my pop career, queen of the burnouts" attitude she has which feels so forced to me. She's quite an existential thinker, she always seems to have been but this whole idea of making ultra-meta music and sabotaging herself just feels really gimmicky and try hard to me. And I say that as a massive massive fan. That being said… I like the album.

-
Katy Perry - "Watch It Burn"
Yeah this slaps tbh, love the pop rock Since U Been Gone type production. I hope her next album is this sound. That would do her wonders and I'd say that's her in her element.
-
Tove Lo & Stromae - "Des Fleurs"
Two of my favourite artists of all time. I was hoping for a more upbeat song but actually this works really well. Not quite getting the negative reaction on here, it's catchy and it's unique. It's both of their styles mixed together so well. If they push this it'll be HUGE on European radio. Could be her next big hit tbh.

Adam Lambert - 'ADAM'
He's 2/2 with me so far. Under the Rhythm is incredible, I'm so so happy to finally be excited for an Adam album again.
- Maroon 5's "This Love" & "She Will Be Loved" classics or not?
-
Various Artists - 'FIFA World Cup 2026 Official Album'
I can't believe I'm saying this but the Jessie Reyez song is an absolute bop and probably the best on this soundtrack alongside the Ava song. What a banger!
-
Taylor Swift - “I Knew It, I Knew You”
If it's country I hope it's the honkiest tonkiest country. Either way it'll probably be good, if it's a sad ballad it needs to be in a very emotional part of the movie.

I need an album of new songs like that Die With a Smile version NOW. That's it, that's her new sound set!- Adam Lambert - 'ADAM'
Eat U Alive oh we are SO back- MUNA - 'Dancing On The Wall'
This is album is insane. All of their albums are but this is up there with some of their best work. The production is out of this world and some are the songs are like nothing they've done before yet it still sounds so them. My favourites after the first listen are: Mary Jane — So catchy, sounds like a timeless hit. Just absolute pop perfection. Big Stick — So political and intense, I love how the drums just get harder and harder as the lyrics get deeper and deeper. Amazing to hear them do a song like this, a proper moment in their discography. Eastside Girls — No wonder it's the next single, this is such a single. Catchy, big sounding. Big backing vocals. Very 80's and fun.- Adam Lambert - 'ADAM'
For Your Entertainment, Trespassing and The Original High were some of my favourite pop albums of my teen years. Everything since has been a bit boring for me. The Afters EP a couple of years ago was a step in the right direction though so I'll be perched for this.- Charli xcx seemingly teases new lyrics: "we kiss each other incestuous vibes"
It's an ATRL hit I fear!- Halsey - 'The Great Impersonator: Deluxe'
The new songs are so great. Carry the Weight, Lucid and Alice (That song literally topped my Spotify Wrapped last year) are just so amazing. I want a full pop punk/post-grunge album from her because: Only Girl Living In L.A. Ego Lonely Is the Muse Carry the Weight Alice of the Upper Class Safeword Dog Years Hand that Feeds (with Amy Lee) Experiment On Me Lucid As an album, chefs kiss.- Lady Gaga - "Glamorous Life" (from 'The Devil Wears Prada 2')
This is a really cool electro ballad, it's reallly different for her I like it a lot! - Lady Gaga - 'Mayhem: Requiem Live'
