Stunningly beautiful album. I was concerned with some of the recent interviews that this album was going to be very serious and overwhelmingly emotional to take in one sitting but that is not the case here. She really spans so many aspects of "grief" and still remains true to what we love about her. As a fan of Sara from album 1 this is exactly what we turn to her for: vulnerability, humor, honesty and heartfelt. This will definitely continue to grow for me as I let it all sink in.

I love this. Gorgeous from start to end. I would love if she keeps up these EPs between albums - they aren't meant to commercial but instead to really show her artistry. Don't get me wrong - I love the bops but this is my favorite version of her.

I agree! I got PFA tour tickets and they were so easy to get. Everyones acting like this is going to be impossible to get tickets to. Do we think its really going to be a blood bath?

Tour announcement plzzzz?

Just finished first listen and its really, really great. It is hard to top Preacher's Daughter being one of the greatest albums of the last decade. Nettles & FME are obvious highlights but Dust Bowl and Waco, TX hit just as hard in their own way. My only complaint, similar to many here, is I wish there were less instrumentals. The instrumental tracks on PD had purpose so I'm sure with more listens I will have a deeper understanding for the reasoning here. That said, it's still a fantastic follow-up in my opinion.
