Which half of their discography is superior, in your opinion?

only one half has HBHBHB so...

First half undoubtedly, but the second is also very good. No duds in this discography.

HBHBHB godly album

Definitely the first half, Ceremonials and HBHBHB are hard to beat, even if HAH and Everybody Scream are strong albums too.

especially after getting downvoted during ES release week, for saying she's been declining since HBHBHB

High as Hope is my favorite but it's still easily first half.

The 2nd half not getting any vote

First half are all 10/10 masterpieces, so is Everybody Scream. The return to form.

Feels weird that HBHBHB is part of the first half since sonically/thematically Lungs + Ceremonials are so different than the rest.

HB3x sonically belongs to the second half, especially with Everybody Scream. I mean One of The Greats literally sounds like it couldve been from HB3x

if HBHBHB is part of the second half, i'd easily be the first to vote that. Their best album.

First 3 albums are amongst my favourite of all time. I lost interest after Hb and never really connected with her music in the same way (with the exception of Hunger)

First half, easily. Ceremonials alone is a flawless album. I would replace HBHBHB with Dance Fever and it would be my top 3.

eta: Only If For a Night is stuck in my head now. And I'm not mad about it.

It's hard bc overall the songs in the first half are stronger, but she has certain career highlights from the second half that outshine everything

This is a tough one for me because my favorite Florence albums are the first two (Lungs and Ceremonials) and the latter two (Dance Fever and Everybody Scream). Both DF and ES are excellent returns to form While HBHBHB is a great album (Queen of Peace is a truly majestic song), it's not really my favorite, and High as Hope never really clicked with me aside from Grace.
