I'm impressed that it's a full-length visual project like this. It's also great all the way through - so glad I ordered a few special editions as soon as I caught wind Oklou was on it my derangement dedication pays off once again!

Excellent album full of bops! Island (da da da) like Zara's Eurosummer is a great nod to Stereo Love.

I need to listen again now that it's out in high res but I heard this album a few weeks ago through a friend & I was so disappointed. Sans the opening track & Laa, it never went beyond Y2K nostalgia bait. So many other dance acts have already beaten Danny to the punch with the trance revival thing (Dj Dave, TDJ) it's kinda redundant atp. He has so much more potential than this album that practically omits everything eccentric/special about what he does

my one complaint is the Clairo song being this short

I disagree lol. The fact someone is already doing it doesn't mean his attempt is 'redundant'. Also, I do think he does give it his own special spin and you can clearly tell it has his signature sound. Either way, I must also admit that I think he could have gone even further with some ideas, but by no means do I feel like the album is disappointing.

The way Crystallise My Tears could've been one of the best on the album but MNEK and his "vocals" said not on my watch

two hearts and crystallise my tears are the only songs that feel a little underdone to me. i have been a danny fan for years so im just used to a bit more… harlecore or whatever… they're still good though (despite mnek's attempted sabotage)

laa(!!!!), on and on, azimuth, te re re & island are my favourites, a great record. can't wait for my t-shirts and lp to arrive

This is AOTY so far (I know it's only been one an a half months, but still)

First full listen, album was good, some songs a little too jarring/hardcore for me.

Second listen (at the gym) HIT

Starlight might be SOTY. I know it was released last year, but it still counts

Raft in the sea is...a classic

Okay so at first some of the songs were a little too hardstyle for me. I loved all the singles. But after a 2nd listen and while working out this is EPIC

Very happy i was able to snag a copy of the blood records vinyl exclusive.

also this song takes me back to my clubbing/rave days

I had really high hopes for this album, but the singles are definitely the standout tracks. I stan Dua but Two Hearts has ZERO reply value.

It's sad cause I'm not feeling this album at all, however, the singles stand alone so well and Raft in the Sea is simply the best song on the album and arguably one of Danny's best songs

"Two Hearts" is massive! "On & On" is a stunning resurrection of "Played-A-Live."
The whole album is a beautiful love letter to Trance, Balearic and Euro dance. It would be perfect for a residency at the Sphere.

"Crystallise My Tears" must win Best Dance Pop Recording next year.
