Loreen - 'WILDFIRE'
True, true. But dropping out of festivals is bizarre since festivals do not rely on individual sales, this is why I wondered if something else happened behind the scenes. But at least it's not related to the label.

Loreen - 'WILDFIRE'
I don't think she dropped out of the festivals and postponed the tour in order to write more music. Knowing Loreen, she would be able to record new music while doing concerts, just like the 2023 tour. I think that there are various contributing factors to this decision, such as low tickets sales and label issues. I don't want to think about health issues, that would be so sad.

Olivia Dean - 'The Art Of Loving'
5 months after Grammys and her album remains stable in the charts, she is on a sold out arena tour, she headlines multiple festivals and she is gaining more and more traction. To hell with people who tried to diminish her talent and songs.

Did this year's Eurovision deliver us 2 potential new MPGs?
I know that this thread was made almost two months ago and maybe I'm quick to jump into conclusions but this year's songs never had the potential to have a proper breakthrough outside the ESC bubble. I love both Bangaranga and Choke Me but they would never become as popular as other past entries (say Arcade, Tattoo, Toy, Zitti E Buoni, Voila, Snap or Espresso Macchiato). One is a well-crafted girlbop that can sustain its popularity inside the fandom but outside Eurovision, it was another pop song, thus the decrease in streams. As for Choke Me, rock entries always struggle to reach the general public and remain relevant after the contest (Maneskin were the exception, not the norm). It was elevated by its amazing staging and the structure was very good but still, not enough to make it remain relevant. I think that both Dara and Alexandra can cultivate their own fanbases. Alexandra can reach a specific niche and since she's already known in Romania, it's easy to create a moderate yet loyal fanbase. As for Dara, if she'll play her cards right, she can definitely reach a higher level outside of Eurovision. But to do so, she definitely needs to release new songs soon, appear to festivals, do interviews, tv appearances etc.

LISA, Anitta & Rema - "GOALS"
Horribly. Roughly half a million streams per day.

Loreen - 'WILDFIRE'
How did you see that tickets aren't selling? No hate, I'm just curious.

Loreen - 'WILDFIRE'
What I need is better promotion because what the **** happened after the Tattoo/Is It Love era? I know that she changed labels 2 times after Eurovision but her management team is the same. Where are the tv appearances and interviews, radio interviews etc?

Olivia Rodrigo - "the cure"
Tbh, I think that the radio can wait a little. It's a strategy to wait and see if the song will remain stable without radio play, if it'll start falling, they will send it on the radio.
-
DARA - "Bangaranga"
In 2021, Måneskin, Barbara and Go_A debuted on the chart too
-
Olivia Rodrigo - "the cure"
Definitely, it's just that the same happened in other countries, like mine (Greece), usually the streams increase on Monday but yesterday many songs dropped instead. Maybe it's the algorithm.

Loreen - 'WILDFIRE'
I just checked the streams and what do you mean almost half of the songs have yet to reach 300k streams in total!? Like, obviously numbers aren't always the greatest metric but this is so sad to see.
-
Olivia Rodrigo - "the cure"
Totally unrelated but how come many songs didn't receive many streams on Monday, compared to what usually happens? In other countries, streams dropped as well for many songs, even though they usually rise after the weekend. Anyway, it's great that The Cure remains stable. Let's hope it'll rise to No1 position tomorrow (depending on how the top 2 will perform).

DARA - "Bangaranga"
I don't know if it'll repeak but it's good that it remains stable in many countries. I hope that she'll get to promote it some more across Europe, like Loreen did with tattoo by being booked for various tv appearances. I think that Dara has the talent to burst outside the Eurovision bubble with the right management and songs (of course she doesn't need to switch her style or abandon Bulgarian songs).

MARINA - 'PRINCESS OF POWER'
I think that as days go by, the songs I lean towards to are Princess of Power, Butterfly, Cuntissimo, Digital Fantasy, Adult Girl and Metallic Stallion. Cupid's Girl has grew off a little, I love the beginning and the chorus but I don't like the verses that much.
-
MARINA - 'PRINCESS OF POWER'
The Fallon performance is not horrible but I did not vibe with the setting and the styling. Yes, it kinda gave this 70s-80s style but it could have been better. However, she sounded really good!
-
MARINA - 'PRINCESS OF POWER'
I feel like I'm the only one who likes Butterfly...Yes, it's not a lyrical masterpiece but I like the beat and the chorus, it's camp

Tyla - "Bliss"
Absolutely love this. It's more layered down and her voice is great. The synths at the intro make me ascend. The song could have benefited from a bridge but it's fine. If the rest of the album has a similar style, I'll just stan harder. Also, I have no idea why people say that this is similar to her other songs...

Lorde - "What Was That"
The song is genuinely so stable, I honestly didn't expect that
-
Tyla - "Push 2 Start"
She teased a new song! Let the rollout for the second album begin.
-
Tyla - "Push 2 Start"
I really hope and pray that Coachella will cause Push 2 Starr's renaissance, at least in US. It's very stable 6 months later, they can fight one last time until the roll out for the sophomore album.
-
Tyla - "Push 2 Start"
Honestly, I am quite happy that they took it kinda slowly with this one. Yes, they can do much better but they haven't abandoned it like they did with Jump (inexcusable). Spotify playlisting is good and they waited until Christmas season is over to push it harder on the radio. I am still waiting for more tv performances.
-
Tyla - "Push 2 Start"
OMG, IT EVEN DEBUTED HIGHER THAN IT WAS PREDICTED! I am so happy for Tyla, she deserves it so much and I pray that this will push Epic to book her for more tv performances or interviews to give it more visibility. SNL before Coachella seems plausible.
-
Tyla - "Push 2 Start"
They better push the song on the radio, Spotify playlisting is surely helpful but the radio can have a big impact too. We also need tv performances, I really hope that she will perform in BRIT Awards and that she will be booked for a SNL appearance before Coachella.

JADE - "IT girl"
The difference is in the label's promotion. Yes, IT Girl is a song of its own but if the label will treat it as a promo single, the promotion will be lackluster like with Midnight Cowboy. If they'll treat IT Girl like an actual single, they'll put it in more playlists, make Jade perform it live and maybe produce an actual music video. But overall, I don't disagree with you, the song is perfect on its own and it has legs to do something more.
-
JADE - "IT girl"
The numbers are great, so happy to see that despite Fantasy's performance the audience is tuned. The playlisting really worked and I really hope they'll push it more before the actual single.
