Them releasing the "Deadline" album when the "Deadline" world tour is about to end

Them releasing on the same day as Bruno Mars

Truly the most mismanaged group in history and its so obvious that the girls don't care anymore, and would rather focus on their solo careers

they all should be working and gearing up for their 2nd solo albums by now but they were stuck with that fuckass tour and group activities

Jump was such a bop, and an exciting step forward for them musically (imo,) but the lack of group content, dance practices, and activities is baffling. The mismanagement of Blackpink is a case for the FBI. Blackpink as a group literally starts and ends on that tour stage .

and the concept of releasing the album after the tour of the same name ends lord this company I swear to god

They have zero interest remained of working as a group

They have prolific solo careers, so it's okay.

My guess is that Blackpink already had that date booked, but Bruno might have anticipated his record to avoid competition with Harry's album, probably coming in March. The only logical explanation for why they would release on the same day.

I would crash out but being a stan over the years has trained me to have my expectations as low as possible when it comes to new music so… whatever

in kpop terms a mini album usually consists of 4-7 songs but in blackpink/yg terms a mini album is a definite 4 song album no more no less

I wish when the group's contract end by the end of 2026, the girls will take BP's name with them cause with the amount of music they released last year as soloists, it's obvious they want to do more music, especially as a group...
