honestly **** them OT4 Blinks need to stop streaming/buying/attending any solo content and activities, the girls have made it clear they think they're above BLACKPINK and their solo stans have been screaming about how any solo success had nothing to do with Blinks so they clearly don't need or want their OG fans' support... they'll be back to being D-listers by the end of the decade and will be happy to receive 1st place trophy on Inkigayo

But the Blonks would rather see them locked at YGE, releasing another TT with a empty chorus, a supposed full album with 8 songs, an expensive tour with barely any props and a huge screen, and useless merch.

girl, they had all the power in the world during their last contract negotiations, BIGBANG weren't even confirmed to reunite back then so YG had literally NOTHING going for them, they could have asked for anything and YG would be forced to say yes... the only thing they ended up asking for was freedom to do their solo stuff in peace and maybe the mini world tour since that's where the big money is... they could have demanded a proper BP era with big promotions, participation in the making of the album, anything the fans claim YG refused to give them the 7 years prior... but they didn't ask for that cause they didn't care for that, they knew being BLACKPINK was benefitial for them but they didn't actually want to do anything BLACKPINK related

they're in for a rude awakening when they finally disband this year and everyone finally jumps ship hopefully the Western connections they made in the past decade (thanks to the fans they don't give a crap about) will keep them going for at least a couple of years until they're doing Eric Nam's radio gig

It's so funny how everyone assumes that YGE would have accepted anything they demanded. They sure had a history of giving 100% freedom and accepting whatever their acts asked!  CL and the BB soloists sure had a long career when they renewed at first.  And yet, all of them left!

I don't know how you can't see how potentially stubborn and problematic this company is. 

A company that has had nothing for themselves outside BLACKPINK for years, mind you, only put the bare minimum for the biggest K-pop girl group, but Blonks think it would have automatically changed lmao . 

The girls can even end up as a total flop; their situation would still be better than how miserable and how they were seen as a joke when they were at YGE. Keeps licking YGE CRIMINAL company till they stand before they end up washed like DSP.

the reason why they went western demo shopping starting with The Album instead of working with other producers in the industry

lol the suggestion that the girls could flop and lose opportunities... they will be A list for life and never have to work again. all 4 are fashion icons and could get any sponsorship or acting gig they want. any asian country would sign them up for tv in a second. and Jennie/Rose have already set up robust music careers and will be able to tour forever.

The only reason why they renewed their contract was in case their solo careers didn't take off , they would have a backup plan. Their solo careers worked and the group doesn't make sense for them anymore

I love Blackpink so much, I have all their CDs, I travelled to see them with 39 celsius fever but I can see now that girls are not happy as a group and maybe should disband because we fans does not deserve such a mess as all the Deadline promotion (getting a tour with one single, just mini album after the tour, Dr. Luke songs etc.) and this 10th anniversary "celebration" is a cherry on top. I am even surprised that they meet each other.

imo atp they should stop releasing anything that they don't want, DEADLINE was a mess except the lead, JUMP is a song I still revisit, it gets played in every club I go to or every Pride event I went to in Germany.

I've been a supporter since BOOMBAYAH, I vividly remember listening to the track premiere while in GAP's elevator in Harajuku and I'm glad about some of the core memories related to BLACKPINK. In fact, they're fully part of my 20s and uni life.

This being said, the group's trajectory has been puzzling since the very beginning. I'm sure there's a lot "not being told" behind the scenes, but I can't stop feeling disappointed as a longtime fan.

At this point I don't even care if was because of YG or because of the girls themselves, the group as a whole wasted its chance to go to the next level and globally shine.

10 years, very few songs and… this?
