Her last two little messes giver and subway failed to do anything substantial and still no new album.

Was the pink pony songstress a fad for the summer

that's a yes

If she really hasn't even started her next album yet, then I think a Lorde career trajectory is a good comparison

No, she seems to have garnered a fanbase. I can see her next album pulling good numbers and having longevity

yes I can agree with a former Camilla Cabello stan

That explains the bitterness about Chappel's one album having more solo hits than Camila's entire 12-year recording career

Yes, if she takes 3-4 years to release another album.

No, if she releases next year.

Depends on how long it takes to release her next album.

And being able to tour so easily… poor Cabello

Obviously not. She is constantly performing to huge crowds and breaking festival attendances. GO OUTSIDE

More like of Alessia Cara

Don't think so. I did not feel The Giver and The Subway was great but as a standalone single failed to hook me entirely.

What I know is that I am perced for anything she has to offer next. She is great.

Nah, she just needs to actually bother to finish and release an album. I don't care for The Giver, but assuming that GLB and The Subway both make it onto her next album, it's shaping up to be one of the best of the decade easily, and she'll see success with another single along the way I'm sure - if she wants that. Part of why the last two weren't as big was, after all, because songs like Pink Pony Club were still smashing so hard. Even if she perhaps intentionally delays because she doesn't care for the more unpleasant aspects of sudden fame and doesn't want to have a massive career and instead just wants to make her music and pay the bills comfortably, she's got what it takes creatively to make all time classic pop albums, radio success or otherwise.

No not yet, but her bad attitude and her never wanting to film music videos, being difficult, and not releasing her second album while she's the "it" girl will surely end her in time.

And this is coming from someone who LOVES her music. Her album is my favorite album currently..

Absolutely not, "The Subway" debuted at #3. She still has huge interest around her, all she needs is an uptempo synth-pop song to have another big hit and her album is guaranteed to do decent pure sales and initial streams, and at this point she can sell out arenas/stadiums. She has really captured a certain demographic and she is an icon to them already.

I also thot so before the Subway, but the initial success of that song clearly proves that people are here for her, but people can be ficke.

I dont like her personality but yhe Subway is quite good.
