There's nothing to suggest Gaga will do a movie before LG8.

Her when asked about a new role in the future "my next role is being a mother".

Her when asked about new music this year "not rulling it out, depends on how the songwriting continues to go".

But who knows, she might've changed her mind in the meantime.

It genuinely terrifies me that some Liddos not only thought Neon Lights was real but they actually wanted that kind of material?

Imma keep it cute because a lot of them are teenagers on TikTok, but... to think I read comments dragging Mayhem and saying they wanted Neon Lights, that AI turd that not even the Katy Perryx Dr. Puke combo could've given us... was truly an enlightening experience as to the taste-level of a large chunk of Gaga's fanbase.

I think a popular reading is that the MV does not play chronologically. The basic story is: Gaga (who has a high rank in the army) falls in love with one of the soldiers (Alejandro) who turns out to be gay. Gaga disguises herself as a man to join the lower ranks and get him to fall in love with her. They engage in intercourse but Alejandro ultimately dies in war and Gaga gets expelled and joins a monastery, where she dies/kills herself due to heartbreak.

The video opens with the juxtaposition between the first time Gaga saw Alejandro and the last time Gaga was with him (when they return his corpse in the coffin). Gaga carries his heart, which then turns to the scene of Alejandro dressed in gay attire by the bedside. Then we get scenes of military preparation, then we see Gaga is now part of the soldiers blending with them and engaging in sexual intercourse doing the male positions herself, the aftermath of one of the orgies and a montage of Alejandro and war footage. Then we see Gaga as a nun, and Gaga as a nun being antagonized by the Alejandro's fellow soldiers. The MV ends with Gaga swallowing the rosary and dying to reunite with him.

Her pulling this card when people somehow expected a colorful glam tropical video for Alejandro will always send me.

I'm just going off of the spacing between her previous starring roles. And I can't imagine she likes JFAD being her most recent acting role.
