Lady Gaga filmed her last movie three years ago... The time between a movie's announcement and its release is long. So the time between Joker 2 and the next one will be very long. I'm not complaining, just stating the facts. Maybe after Joker 2 floppanned she thought, "Oh, and actually, I already have my Oscar."

That timeline makes the most sense, yeah. Or Requiem comes later in May or sumn since she probably is in no hurry to put it out. But her website said "soon" so it can't be too far away.

The potential release dates for SOAW in my mind are Apr 17 (two weeks before) and Apr 24 (week before) since I'm assuming they will cut some ads to air with the song in it for the final marketing push. Hopefully they stick to Fri release with some good playlisting and we don't have another crappy, chucked-out-on-random-weekday situation à la HMH.
