One page back we were just discussing how punk rock it was for Gar, a rape survivor, to feature a rapist on a song that contains a double entendre likening tabloid culture to allowing said rapist to do what he wants with her body. My username comes from that song. When I joined ATRL back in 2017, Gypsy was my absolute favorite of hers. These days though, it feels like it hasn't aged all that well. But the outro remains one of her career highlights

That's so sweet! Disagree about it aging tho, tbh the blend of acoustic & electronic elements in the productions still sounds so fresh to me. It's also a classic arena rock melody. It's like if Bruce Springsteen went to a Romani rave & was inspired to write a song about it
