I am just so proud of Gaga these days especially. I know as a fanbase were were all a bit/a lot disappointed about the AOTY loss despite a generally successful night otherwise, but in the long run having the good will of the general public with how inspirational and selfless she has been in supporting younger artists like Bad Bunny, having massive exposure like her Super Bowl performance, and being an outspoken leader and visionary for music that is respected, has always being 100% genuine in her support of embracing cultures, sexual orientations, genders, etc, and providing some of the best musical and vocal performances of her career no less, has been absolutely magical to witness. This salsa inspired performance of Die With A Smile (let's not forget about that Pokemon cameo too!) perfectly encapsulates what makes Gaga so unique--she is happy doing what she wants, when she wants it, and she's literally not even 40 years old yet and has inspired a diverse cornucopia of younger artists in a way that is already paying her back in strides. She's a certified music and pop culture legend no matter what she does here on out, and even if people don't like her music, she will continue to surprise us, be insanely talented and riveting in doing so, and will always have the respect as a performer and public figure who supported how global music is because that's exactly how it should be

For years she has incorporated various cultures, languages, and life experiences into her music and it doesn't feel inauthentic or like it's pandering because she genuinely enjoys it and oozes charisma when discussing how much she appreciates this aspect of art. She doesn't aim to be middle of the road, elevator music but aims to find the new, unique perspective that pushes social boundaries. What an incredible week and year for her. I am so proud to stan this woman

I'm really proud of Gaga. Crazy to think that she went to hell and back with ARTPOP, and her battles with depression, and here she is years later being celebrated and embraced by a whole new generation of artists. I'm glad she kept going and that she's able to see herself get her flowers
