And let's not forget Bad Romance not being nominated for ROTY or SOTY. She's almost more due for a general field win for record/song of the year than album. I'm hopeful she will win at least two Grammy's this year, and my expectations are low for a general field win but she truly deserves to be recognized for the unquestionable excellence that are Abracadabra and Mayhem—in my humble opinion her best song and album of all time!

Harlequin is also so severely underrated due its lack of huge commercial success and the genre it is, but between Mayhem and Harlequin she just casually dropped two of her best works to date within a year and is already on her way to releasing more music. It's so refreshing to see a true ARTIST at the top of her craft—and not just someone who want to hop on the latest trend or retread their old hits with the same formula. Gaga deserves to win several awards tonight based on merit alone, but the "long overdue" narrative would fully maximize her winnings in multiple categories

ROTY - record of the year, awarded for the actual recording, not the song/composition itself

BPDR - best dance-pop recording of the year

BPVA - best pop album with vocals
