When it comes to album of the year I think Gaga is actually a bigger threat to bad bunny and Kendrick than people think. Kendrick no matter what has a split vote between 2 other rap albums. Bad bunny although very popular will struggle no matter what to be convinced outside the Latino vote that he deserves album of the year. Even if gaga vote is split between Sabrina and Justin Bieber. Gaga has the jazz vote and rock/alternative vote. Those votes are not going to anyone else.

Gaga has a stronger chance than Kendrick. His votes are torn between the gigantic amount of rap and r&b albums nominated.

It'll probably gonna go to Bad Bunny but she has a fighting chance. Probably ROTY is more likely, if she gets any GF at all.

The silver lining of her not winning any GF trophies is she can def make a better album than Mayhem so imagine her Grammys odds next time with both a better album and a ginormous overdue narrative

I was just watching a Grammy prediction video of gays saying they want Gaga to get it because it could possibly be her last chance. But I disagree, she's being undersold. Her best album is yet to come.

I agree, but also she's turning 40 shortly. It's less about Gaga's ability to make good music and more about the industry's preference to celebrate younger stars - even beyond the GRAMMYs. I get the ageism critiques and it's lame for us as Gaga fans, but also get that they want to always make way for a new generation. It's just a bummer when it leads to some unfair snubs..

Yeah I get it, but I think part of it is due to the difficulty having commercial success and critical acclaim past a certain age and I think Gaga defies the odds and is an outlier there rather than the usual popstar.
