A thought that crossed my mind is that maybe Requiem is coming just after TDWP2 so that it still works as a part of Mayhem era before she moves on to silence or teasing LG8.

Maybe Requiem does hint at LG8's sound, so she wants it to be the last thing released before it

That's what I was thinking. These songs/EP were probably recorded during or shortly after Mayhem with the same team. So maybe she wants to make a point of tying everything up before Requiem.

Highly possible that I'm just reading too much into stuff.

She should do the soundtrack announcement today.

Not gonna listen to GL snippet until it's officially out but so excited to see y'all gagged We're already going to have it by next Friday (or even as early as this Friday), so I'm happy about that. Let me buy my movie ticket today, actually.
