I think we all kinda knew we were in for a ride when this video dropped after the album was already out, but we truly didn't know the extent of what was waiting for us

I do agree Cowboy Carter was a bit overly long, however, I do think it will work better with the visuals 🤡 to me, it doesn't feel like a radio show (at all) so that concept flopped a bit. but i think the visuals will change that… whenever they may see the light of day.

I would be so here for a 9-10 track album; she's already fed us musically with the three act era … to me anyway

A real tight tracklist with 7-8 minute (or even longer) rock numbers , best of the best collaborators .. yes I see the vision for that being legendary

9 is way too short, especially when she loves to include unlistenable duds like church girl or spaghetti. 12 tracks is perfect, not too long nor too short and instantly seems serious and acclaimed

I don't think the booklets showcase exclusively footage of its respective album. The supposed Renaissance shoot has photos of CC and perhaps Act III too. I think visually, the trilogy will be much more of a melting pot than the albums.

The Bey albums I stream most are 4, Self Titled and Rennaisance. It's true that CC is a tough listen and not the kind of music I normally gravitate to but I recognize the artistic merit and courage it took to create it.

I've been streaming BEYONCE non-stop lately, it had been a while. His discog really is fabulous.

i don't think this means much. CC had dance influences that carried over from Ren, so it wouldn't be a surprise if CC had rock elements that carry over from ACT III.

same for anything visual related, Ren had a lot of star, fire and cowboy hat imagery as well, so CC having some rock influences visually would be the logical next step. the only thing i find odd is if the album's rock AND releasing in may… that's a lot of pretty predictable speculation to have months (even years) before the album actually releases, which as we all know isn't very Beyoncé at all. i don't see how she'd let us get it right on the main genre and release date when she hates being predictable ?

but then again if it's not rock, what the hell else would it be ? there's no big main genre that ticks all the boxes left (the reclamation angle, the novelty genre for her to explore angle, the black roots and american history angle…)

she better not serve us a "limited edition" physical version with less tracks again, that was a complete mess on her part and we all pretend it didnt happen.

The way the cd is a jewel case with a 2 pic booklet while Rennie was a digipack still triggers me to this day
