It's odd enough that she released a ST outtake that has nothing to do with B'Day or its sound as the precursor to the reissue.

Which leads me to believe that the anniversary edition will be more like a new version of B'Day than a typical "Here is B'Day plus 3 new songs"-anniversary-edition.

Also, lets remember the original plan:

Act 1: CC (naturally political because shes a black female popstar fully dipping her toes into the Country Sphere)

Act 2: Renaissance (carefree, joyful, happy Beyoncé)

Act 3 - potentially highly political/outspoken

So initially, she always planned to follow up a serious act with a non-serious one. Her changing the plan due to COVID clearly shook up the initial plans. So with this interim anniversary edition, she's able to go back to alternating between serious and carefree. Honestly speaking, I gotta give props where they are due, and that truly seems sensible to me.
