13 which isn't much better, but that post is allegedly about debuts (while including plenty of stuff from beyond release week but i digress)

anyway i just hope someone at parkwood has enough common sense to do the bare minimum and not pull the plug on Morning Dew because it would be such an easy hit for her

i don't think we're getting a re-recording, but i'm just hoping some tracks make it onto the next tour. Freakum Dress feels like a given with the teasing she's done on RWT and CCT, Suga Mama would be a fun surprise. hate that we're in the "wait and see" portion of things, but at least september isn't too far away

Ive said it before, and Imma say it again: If there's one thing Bey has been adamant about ever since managing herself, it's to disrupt the industry and go against the status quo.

She's about to release her very first anniversary edition after 20 (!) years. I fail to believe that it's going to be B'day + some old songs attached. B'day is there already, as is the Deluxe version. There's no point in releasing the same thing again.

This + Morning Dew lead me to believe that the anniversary edition of B'day might be rather something along the lines of a re-issue. I could see her keeping half of the songs and adding new song to make the album feel like a 2026 project. She could very well re-record the songs that she keeps from the older editions and give them a 2026 polish. That way, the essence of B'day wouldn't be lost and it would still follow Bey's biggest ideal: Disrupting the norm - in this case of what anniversary edition could look like.

This is clearly also wishful thinking on my part, so don't come for me, you hags

I'm pretty sure she'll pop out for the three remaining Jay Z concerts. She'll do Deja Vu/Upgrade U in London, Crazy In Love in Paris and 03 Bonnie and Clyde in LA, most likely.

If Act3 is highly political, which is probable due to the nature of it being Rock Music, which just naturally lends itself to being exactly that, then an easy-going, positive interim era with the aniversary of the most "Beyoncé"-record ever, might be sensible.

There's also something to be said for the fact that B'Day could be argued as her first foray into rock. I'm not expecting anything more, but I wonder if there's more than meets the eye.

It's odd enough that she released a ST outtake that has nothing to do with B'Day or its sound as the precursor to the reissue.

I need her version of Can't Knock the Hustle on streaming ASAP.
