Honestly I agree with this, which I understand might be kind of a hot take. I think she should focus on music for a good while and "ride the wave" before stepping into a major acting project and putting music on the backburner YET again.

We've only gotten 11 new songs from her this era so I want her to keep the creative juices flowing in the studio without having to balance filming schedules too.

But I do wonder if Benito actually got her to film that cameo for Overcompensating season 2? That was such a cute show

She could still drop singles while doing the show obviously touring can't happen but she could still do one off performance

With younger they weren't expecting it to keep getting renewed and since it was a big success for tv land the network probably made it top priority

Hilary probably likes doing both because it keeps her name out there

She stated on hot ones she wants to direct so she still has big goals for acting and isn't done yet

that's actually super cute, if she did cameos on shows like overcompensating. i think it would help her gain more fans/have a larger audience but the idea of a brand new acting gig right now or in the next 2 years kills me give us another album at least. or maybe she could prove us wrong! that would be amazing too

Yeah, I don't like the personal pics with influencers, cause I paid for VIP and backstage passes and will only get a group photo, but I'm fine with radio stations personalities or media in general cause we need the promo and hopefully interviews (specially in NYC and LA).

that's on them, lowkey. the soundcheck package always stated its a group photo, and the package above that one only includes as an extra the backstage tour (without her participation), i know she mentioned m&gs in one of the stationhead listening parties but the way she worded it didn't make it official at all or that she had much knowledge to it dddddd very hilary

Honestly, I don't really care about her acting career. All the projects she's done recently aren't really my kind of thing to watch. I'd be happy for her if she gets a big role in a major project, but I'd honestly prefer her to stick with music for the next decade...

The were some notices/disclaimers indicating that the concert was being recorded, and attendance constituted consent to being filmed or something in that line.

i am at my 10th rewatch of Younger thanks to Netflix and their love for books made me an avid reader lmao

HIMYF was genuinely so bad tho. i forgot whats the term but it's when established sitcom actors start playing themselves at the tail end of the show, it felt like hilary was just being her charismatic self but not really acting out a specifically thought-out character

i MIGHT have liked the show in season 3 when the cast was finding it's footing in season 2 but writer's strike and all

Pretty Ugly has so much potential and it's reported with the press release as a Drama. I do think it's odd that we haven't heard anything else about this and the only casting we have is Hilary.

I do have to say that Pretty Ugly plot it's pretty similar to Haylie's Duff Lifetime movie called "Pretty Hurts".
