Please! I'm glad there's new content, but honestly I'm so tired of these long-form interviews circling the same topics over and over. I'd love to see just one hour-long interview where she focuses purely on music (past albums, tours, and what those eras were like to create). At this point I barely even watch these anymore because they're so long and somehow still only really touch on the same two or three music-related topics related to the new album.

Yeah we need a podcast where they solely focus on the music, doing a deep dive into each era. That's something she's never done before, and what the fans really would like to hear about.

I think we've had enough interviews and podcasts about mom / family life, Lizzie McGuire

Would it really kill any of these interviewers to ask her about the self titled and dignity albums/eras….

But I agree that long form stuff like this proves we need a comprehensive deep dive into her music catalogue, since I really enjoy when she goes into the meaning of a song (like Weather For Tennis) and just hearing her perspective on what it means and how it came about

Watching her interview with Jay rn and when she's talking about "We Don't Talk" / Haylie and says that they don't speak atm and she says "it's a very raw part of my existence and I hope it's not forever, but it's for right now" makes me so sad you can tell how much it hurts her not having Haylie in her life

Weather for Tennis is the perfect intro to the album, the melody, lyrics, vocals, all top notch. But I'm noticing what some others have called out previously with the mixing. Compared to the other songs the production sounds less full and a bit tinny, and some tinkering sounds happening in the background that I'm not sure was intentional. Luckily it doesn't take away from what a freakin' bop it is

It's so so good! I get what you mean, I'm not sure if was intentional but the instrumental/mixing being sort of hollow/underweater sounding is kinda what makes me like it. Tbh he clapping during the chorus gives me that tennis racket hitting the tennis ball feeling, the back & forth if that makes sense. Wonder if that was intentional when producing it, would be interesting to see if they dive into the production of the record for the documentary! Either way such a bop

Oh yeah she got really emotional during that interview, I don't think we've ever seen her be so vulnerable... but I have to say her media training is truly astonishing

Honestly, I will probably wait till they upload the performance and interview to YouTube, finding links to watch it live is so hard these days.

The album is #16 on US iTunes right now, we will see if the show gives it a boost at all.

I think the start of this era/release dates were… odd to say the least. First of all, starting your highly awaited comeback era in early November (the start of Xmas freeze) was really a choice… 

This is how I would've planned out the singles/release dates:

1. Weather for Tennis - Late February 2026

2. Future Tripping (or Roommates) - Early May 2026

   LUCK… OR SOMETHING - May 29, 2026

3. We Don't Talk - Mid September 2026

4. The Optimist - Mid January 2027

• WFT - nostalgic early 2000s vibes, perfect for spring

• Future Tripping - summer vibes with a fun/viral video. Roommates could also work.

• We Don't Talk - fall vibes

• The Optimist - ballad, so winter time makes the most sense (after the holidays). Maybe add Kacey on a remix 🤠

Now don't get me wrong, I love Mature, but as a lead single it was just fine. I would have enjoyed it more if it was an album track I think. But these are just my opinions, plz don't attack me!
